eIDAS Regulation review ClubPSCo’s European workshop

eIDAS Regulation produces direct and indirect (being referred to by other regulations) impacts to digital trust, which paves the way to a powerful Digital Single Market.

No later than July 1st 2020, the Commission will review the achievements of the eIDAS Regulation, and assess its technological, market and legal environments, to make eventual legislation proposals to the European Council and Parliament.

ClubPSCo’s members (French QTSPs) invite the European stakeholders to share evaluations in a targeted “eIDAS Art. 49 (review) workshop”:

2:30 pm SAME TRUST LEVEL BRINGS RELIABILITY IN DIGITAL SINGLE MARKET

Introduced by ClubPSCo and discussed by European stakeholders (European Commission, ENISA, FESA, ETSI, ACAB’c, CEN, ESD, ClubPSCo members, …) the following issues will be discussed:

  • Functional and security recommendations and assessment of qualified signature services (art 19, 24, 29);
  • Security level of critical assets: trustworthy systems and products, QSCD (art 24, 20, 30);

3:30 pm HOMOGENEOUS TRUST AND RELIABILITY MULTIPLY CROSS BORDERS TRANSACTIONS IN DIGITAL SINGLE MARKET

Introduced by ClubPSCo and discussed by European stakeholders (European Commission, ENISA, FESA, ETSI, ACAB’c, CEN, ESD, ClubPSCo members, …) the following issues will be discussed:

  • Equality of national qualification procedures and requirements (art. 19.1, 20.4, 24.2);
  • Interoperability and cross border deployment of trust services (art. 28, 32, 34, 38, 40, 42, 44);
